Third Class Artists

This month third class have been studying the artist Henri Matisse. They experimented with his idea of ‘painting with scissors’ by cutting out Matisse inspired shapes to create paper maché bowls. They also used the Greek legend of Icarus and Matisse’s composition of ‘The Fall of Icarus’ as inspiration for another paper cut-out art piece.
