Fire Safety With Second and Third Class

Fiona’s and Claire’s second and third classes took part in a fire safety project with the Limerick Fire Service. This is a project that is offered to schools across the country to promote fire safety in the home. The teachers and children did some fire safety lessons with material provided by the fire safety officers. When these were completed the fire service returned with a fire engine and students had a chance to sit in the fire engine and to see the fire officers use the hose. It was great fun!
